CUSTOMER CARE

Shellie Christian Studio is a Boutique Ceramics Studio based in Central Coast, New South Wales. 

 

All of our pieces are made in house and by hand using clays sourced locally. 

 

We fire to the highest stoneware temperature with food-safe glazes to ensure the most durable, functional pieces possible. 

 

We take great care to send the ceramics to you as safely and quickly as possible. 

 

Functional ceramics are sent via Australia Post we have flat rate shipping of $10.00 Australia Wide careful attention is made to the packaging of orders however we cannot take responsibility for packages lost or damaged by Australia Post

Sculptural Ceramics shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of piece and will be sent via our courier service, careful attention is made to the packaging of orders.

If you live local on the Central Coast or would like to collect your work from my studio I offer a click and collect service.

By shopping with SC Ceramics, you are agreeing to accept the following conditions, under which we provide all our content and services. Please take a moment to read and understand them before you use our site.

 

Please also note all of our products are handmade, often no two items are alike. Each product is individual and imperfections may occur, which means the piece received may not be exactly the same as in the photo which reflects the handmade nature of the brand


The colours shown in the photos on this website are representational only. Actual colours on finished pieces may vary from colours displayed. Colours are applied by hand and will therefore always vary (which is part of the charm of our ceramics). Due to the slight temperature variations that can occur during the firing process or the position of the piece in the kiln, colours of glazes as well as the clay itself may vary between pieces.

Please also note that due to the different settings in monitors the colours might also vary slightly from what you see on your computer screen. If you need any further clarification, please contact us before ordering.

DELIVERY

Please ensure that the delivery details entered during checkout are correct. We can not be responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided to us by you. Shipping charges will apply for orders that have to be re-sent due to incorrect details provided to us. 

 

You will receive a tracking number from us once your order is on the way. It is your responsibility to ensure you will be able to receive the parcel. If a parcel cannot be delivered and has to be returned to us, re-delivery charges will apply.

If you have any queries or concerns regarding the delivery of your order, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Damaged Goods


We take great care in packaging the ceramics as safely as possible. Each piece is carefully wrapped and surrounded in a comfy bed of void-fill. In the unfortunate event where goods arrive damaged and/or faulty, please contact us within 24 hrs of the receipt of the goods.

 

If the item is defective or damaged in the shipping process we will happily discuss a replacement or exchange. In addition, if for some reason you receive a different item to the one you purchased, please get in touch with in 24hrs of receipt of the goods and we can arrange a re-deliver

SECURITY

NOTE: For your security we do NOT store your credit card details on our website. All transactions are processed via PayPal so you can rest assured that your credit card details are safe. Our store's online checkout process is secured via a Bank level security SSL certificate. This means you are able to purchase with confidence, knowing your data is transmitted safely and securely every time.
